START AND LIST YOUR NEW IN PERSON MEETING:

One-on-One Support for New Meeting Creation

We offer a 15-minute one-on-one meeting with the founder Noah Levine to discuss your new meeting and any questions you might have prior to creating and listing your new in-person meeting.

List Your Meeting on RRWS Meeting Listing Page

If you have previously held an in-person meeting and do not require support, you can fill out the RRWS new in-person meeting listing form to register your meeting on RRWS Meeting Listings page.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW IN-PERSON MEETINGS:

1. Commit to being the meeting secretary for the next 6 months. The secretary is responsible for running the meeting.

*If you have less than 6 months of sobriety and time in Refuge Recovery meetings, we are very happy to help you get a meeting going. Although we do suggest that people have 6 months of continuous abstinence before starting a meeting on their own, we are happy to be flexible about this guideline.

We ask you to be willing to start the meeting and then recruit some of people who have more than six months to join you in service to the group. It would be helpful if you could elect a group rep for the meeting right away.

2. Let us know that you understand and acknowledge The Essential Elements of a Refuge Recovery MeetingThe Guiding Principles of a Refuge Recovery Meeting.

3. Decide on your date, time, meeting name and location.

MEETING RESOURCES:

If you want to purchase books, we have a group price if you order 10 or more (shipping included).
